Pomona was created to change the way fashion is experienced and to provide an alternative to those who seek it. This is centred around the fibre we use to create our clothing, and will extend to how you interact with us as a brand. We are fully committed to doing things differently, even if it does make things a little more challenging. But that's the fun part as well!

Pomona creates it's products from Banana Fibre. Specifically, this fibre is extracted from the stem of the Banana Plant at the end of it's natural lifecycle. Did you know the Banana Plant gives fruit once, then dies? Well, if you didn’t, now you know! By extracting the natural fibre in it's stem and carefully transforming it into textile fabric, we give a second life to what would otherwise be an agricultural waste byproduct.

Pomona draws its Inspiration from our founders’ global urban experiences and embodies Natural Urbanism: reconciling urban life, music and art with nature and a more natural way of doing things. We celebrate the contrasts of these opposing worlds as a a unique strength when combined together in harmony, creating a strong visual identity and physical reality capable of creating a necessary disruption to fashion.
